James Blunt performs duet with Paris Hilton

James Blunt has performed a duet of 'Grease' classic 'Summer Lovin'' with ex-lover Paris Hilton.

The British singer was joined on stage by the socialite at bikini designer Diana Jenkins' birthday party in Malibu Saturday night.

The unlikely collaborators' impromptu rendition of the popular hit is said to have gone down well with revelers, who danced and sang along.

After finishing the song, Blunt was seen leaving the lavish party with German model Tatiana Patitz.

The pair had been flirting earlier in the evening and seemed to be smitten with one another as they left the bash.

Blunt and Paris have been spotted kissing and dancing in nightclubs on several occasions this year, although neither star has ever confirmed they dated.

The 'You're Beautiful' singer has previously dated Czech model Petra Nemcova and has also been linked to Mischa Barton and Lindsay Lohan.

Paris has most recently been seen getting cozy with Pamela Anderson's ex-husband Kid Rock.

Paris Hilton's Hollywood pad appraised for lower price

It seems that Paris Hilton's Hollywood pad did not appraise for the sale price.

The hotel heiress' realtor Mauricio Umansky from the firm Hilton and Hyland said that the mansion's highest appraisal is at 3.6 million dollars.

Umansky, who is Hilton's uncle, revealed that the purchase price also includes furniture and chandeliers summing up between 600,000 dollars and 700,000 dollars, reports TMZ.

The realtor also said that one of the chandeliers is made by Baccarat, which is alone worth 40,000 dollars.

Umansky also said that a couple has bought the house for the agreed purchase price and will get the key next week.

Britney's millions: How the troubled star banks £4million a year despite not working

Britney Spears is raking in £370,000 a month - more than £4 million a year - despite not having had a hit song for three years. The troubled star's last big success was her 2004 Greatest Hits album and her last UK No 1 was Everytime in the same year.

Spears's continued earning power, from royalties, interest on her £65million fortune and income from her perfumes Curious and Fantasy, was revealed in court documents filed in her battle against ex-husband Kevin Federline for custody of their two children.

The papers also show that she still forks out £10,000 a month to K-Fed, even though they split last year.

Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, claims in a declaration filed this week that Spears "is clearly the 'monied party' in this case."

Kaplan is asking her to pay £25,000 for expenses in connection with the custody hearing, claiming his bill will be in excess of £20,000.

The documents also reveal that LA's Department of Children and Family Services is investigating Spears for allegedly neglecting her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

The singer has been accused of providing poor dental hygiene for the children, as well as allowing poor eating and sleeping habits.

Among those who have been, or are being, subpoenaed in Federline's move to get 70/30 custody of the boys are the Promises Treatment Center, where Spears was in rehab, her ex-manager Larry Rudolph and the star's former bodyguard, assistant and nanny.

Britney's former manager Larry Rudolph was served at a tanning salon, which he part owns in Los Angeles.

Manager Erin Tietsort, the assistant manager at the Sunset Tan in West Los Angeles. Tietsort said Rudolph was served by an attractive brunette.

"We asked her who she was but she just said she had a meeting with [Rudolph]. After he walked in he said, 'Can I help you?' and she just handed the papers and left. He had no idea.

"He then said [to himself], "Oh, okay. Yeah. They've been looking for me. This is for Britney Spears-Kevin Federline.' I was like, 'Really?' And he just stared out the window. You could tell he wasn't too happy about it," said Tietsort. Rudolph went into hiding to avoid being served because he felt his testimony under oath could hurt Spears's case, said American Idol host Ryan Seacrest, who was in contact with Rudolph over the weekend.

"He's actually on the run," Seacrest reported.

"After all they have been through he is still loyal to her."

It was business as usual for the chaotic singer who appeared in public yesterday wearing what could loosely be described as a floral mini dress – which exposed her ample bottom.

Spears is working on a comeback album, due for release on November 13th, and two singles - Gimme More and Cold As Fire - were leaked on the internet today ahead of their expected radio launch next month.

According to People magazine, the club-friendly dance track officially previewed on New York radio station Z-100's Web site.

The song is said to feature the pop star's signature breathy vocals, melodic electronic bleeps over a driving beat and a catchy hook.

Spears opens the sexy and sassy tune by defiantly saying, "It's Britney, b****", and producer Nate "Danjahandz" Hills ends it in a shout out, saying, "Bet you didn't see this coming." Spears and ex Federline, 29, are caught up in an ugly custody battle over sons Sean Preston, two next month, and Jayden James, eleven months.

And earlier this weeek it was revealed she is also being investigated for possible child abuse.

The complaint, lodged with Department of Children and Family Services, alleges poor dental hygiene, as well as poor eating and sleeping habits for the boys.

Spears' recent off the wall indiscretions, which include a topless swimming pool romp with a stranger earlier this month, have led Federline to seek full custody of their children.

Lindsay Lohan’s father claims mother 'does cocaine'

Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael claims her mother Dina “does cocaine.”

The convicted criminal is furious with his wife for not allowing him access to their children and has hit out at her in a vicious attack.

Michael is quoted by PerezHilton’s website as saying, "I’ll give you a video tape of someone who told me, ‘Michael, I know for a fact that Dina does cocaine because I delivered it to the house to her.’ That’s recently, about six months ago.”

He goes on to accuse Dina of keeping him from seeing Lindsay and his other three children - Michael, Aliana and Dakota – and claims Dina leaked a story that he is to visit Lindsay at her Utah rehab facility.

Michael said, "Dina is doing everything possible to try and prevent me from seeing Lindsay and my kids. This will wind up back in court and then the truth is going to come out.

“I’ve said from the beginning, any communication with Lindsay is between us and I’ve kept my word.

“But Dina contacted the press and said I was seeing Lindsay. Part of my whole agreement in court was to see my kids, which she has prevented me from doing.”

He also accuses Dina of being involved in six DUI offences for which she has never been caught by police.

Lindsay, 21, has been charged with driving under the influence and Michael has served time in jail for DUI charges.

Dina responded by saying, "Now the world will know why eight people have issued criminal protection orders against Michael Lohan.”

Lindsay Lohan fails rehab drugs test

Lindsay Lohan has failed a drugs test in rehab.

The troubled actress, who's seeking help for drug and alcohol addiction in Utah's Cirque Lodge, was hauled into the director's office and forced to take the test.

The results allegedly came back positive. Lohan, 21, has now been warned that if she does not stay clean she will be thrown out of the centre.

This could be very serious for the star.

Only last week she pleaded no contest to drink-driving and possessing cocaine and was sentenced to just one day in jail.

Britney gets pulled over

The traffic police that patrol the Hollywood hills must get quite bored of pulling female celebrities over for various traffic offences.

After Paris and Lindsay in the past few months, this time it was the turn of one-woman disaster area Britney Spears to get on the wrong side of the law.

Britney Spears was spotted by traffic police speeding on her way to Las Vegas and so an LA cop quickly accelerated up behind her in the fast lane and put on his lights. According to reports, Britney just casually continued on her way and it took her almost one mile to finally leave the motorway where she was finally pulled over.

After getting a quick telling off from the female officer Britney pleaded innocence and complained that the paparazzi were chasing her.

It was Britney's lucky day and she got away with just a warning, leading one of the officers to comment, 'it pays to be a popstar'.

Paris Kids around with Pam Anderson's ex

Another weekend and another sighting of Paris Hilton partying on Malibu beach - no change there.

However what is different is the hair and the male company.

The heiress appears to have ditched her extensions and current boyfriend in favour for a more sophisticated look and the company of Pamela Anderson's ex-husband, rocker Kid Rock. Paris appeared almost coy whilst deep in conversation with the bare-chested, heavily-tattooed Kid (real name Robert James Ritchie) as the two partied at her pad by the sea.

The 26-year-old Hilton had been linked to Entourage actor Adrian Grenier in recent weeks, but he seemed a distant memory along with her long blonde locks. Paris is well-matched with Kid - he's not known for his long-term relationships either.

His marriage to Anderson lasted a mere six months and allegedly ended - in part - over the Baywatch star's participation in hit movie Borat, which the rocker saw as 'humiliating'.

Surprisingly Paris has more in commmon with Anderson than just her taste in men.

They're both fervent animal lovers, often photographed in their bikinis and both have starred (albeit unintentionally) in two of the highest-selling home videos ever.

Lindsay Lohan gets steamy with male patient

It seems that Lindsay Lohan cannot give up her bad girl image, not even in rehab, for she was caught getting steamy with a male patient in one of the bathroom's at the Cirque Lodge, Utah.

The 'Mean Girls' star's dirty antic was busted after staff members heard moaning noises coming from inside a cubicle, and discovered Lohan being naughty with the male patient.

"Staff were alerted to the bathroom because there were strange noises coming from inside and two voices could be heard. When they opened the door, Lindsay was in a compromising position with the guy - who's also at Cirque for drug rehab," the News of the World quoted an insider, as saying.

"Rumours spread like wildfire across the place that they'd been having sex. hen staff found them they were all flustered and Lindsay's hair was all over the shop," the insider added.

The insider went on to say that Lindsay fought back because she was in a bad mood about being given toilet-cleaning duties.

"She was livid that she was given the miserable task of cleaning the bogs so the theory was she'd do something really dirty in there. Lindsay has been throwing tantrums like a little kid, telling everyone that she misses partying," the insider said.

"It's a lost cause as it's clear that she can't wait to get back to her normal, partying lifestyle," the insider added.

Paris Hilton settles 10 mln dlr defamation lawsuit

Paris Hilton has settled a multi-million dollar lawsuit filed by a rival socialite who accused the heiress of planting defamatory stories about her in a gossip column, lawyers said Wednesday.

Hilton, who was at the center of a worldwide media frenzy in June after she was sent to prison for violating probation, had been sued for 10 million dollars by actress Zeta Graff, according to court documents.

Jury selection for a civil trial was due to get underway next Monday but officials at Santa Monica County Court told AFP the case had been resolved.

"It's been settled," a court clerk said.

In a prepared statement, Graff's lawyers said their client was pleased to have avoided a trial.

"Zeta Graff and Paris Hilton are pleased to announce the amicable resolution of the lawsuit between them," the statement said. "Both parties are glad that the matter could be resolved without the time and expense of a trial."

A representative for Hilton could not immediately be reached for comment.

No further information about the details of the settlement were revealed. It was not clear how much, if anything, Hilton had paid to settle the case.

The deal headed off a potentially embarrassing court trial for Hilton, who emerged from prison earlier this year declaring that she was determined to change her party-loving lifestyle.

Graff had filed her suit in 2005, alleging Hilton was the source for a story which appeared in the gossip pages of the New York Post claiming that she had attacked her in a London nightclub.

The story alleged Graff attacked Hilton in a jealous rage while the socialite was dancing with her then fiancee, Paris Latsis. Latsis reportedly dated Graff for two years before her relationship with Hilton.

The New York Post report said Graff had attempted to snatch a diamond necklace from Hilton's neck before being bundled out of the nightclub.

Graff, who had a small role in Luc Besson's 1997 film "The Fifth Element," denied the Post report in her lawsuit, saying that Hilton had tapped her on the shoulder and whispered in her ear that she planned to "destroy" her.

Paris Hilton buys Mediterranean-style mansion in Beverly Hills

Less than eight days after selling her Hollywood pad for 4.25 million dollars, Paris Hilton has reportedly purchased a five-bedroom mansion in Beverly Hills, California.

The hotel heiress sold off her 3.000-square foot, Spanish style pad which she bought in 2004, as she wanted to relocate to a secluded place to avoid the paparazzi after the drama following her arrest and release.

According to US Weekly the new home located in a gated community has its own gym and a gourmet kitchen, Contactmusic reports.

The Mediterranean-style mansion also has a pool, complete with Jacuzzi, waterfall and hotel-style cabanas, as well as separate guest quarters and a separate office.

Earlier, the residents of Hollywood hills circulated a petition asking their neighbours to bring in the police to attend to the swarm of photogs and noise levels due to Hilton's arrest.

Actress Cameron Diaz was also among the residents who expressed her displeasure.

Weinstein Offers Lohan Support

Movie mogul Harvey Weinstein has given troubled actress Lindsay Lohan a big boost after revealing he'd hire her tomorrow, despite all her legal and personal issues.

The Mean Girls star, who is currently seeking counseling at a Utah rehab clinic, was sentenced to serve a day behind bars on Thursday following two separate drunk-driving arrests.

But despite all of her problems, revered producer Weinstein insists the 21-year-old is still at the top of his wish list for a string of upcoming movies.

The mogul, who worked with Lohan on ensemble movie Bobby, says, "I just hope that Lindsay is fine. She's a good lady... She's a wonderful actress. She did a great job in Bobby. Lindsay is a wonderful talent."

Lohan's Parents Speak Out Over Jail Term

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan's parents have spoken of their "sadness" after the star was ordered to serve one day in jail for drink-driving.

The Mean Girls star will also perform 10 days of community service after pleading guilty to two of the seven misdemeanor charges against her.

Lohan had been charged with driving under the influence and being under the influence of cocaine in relation to two drink-driving arrests in Beverly Hills, California and nearby Santa Monica in May and July of this year.

Lohan's mother Dina has branded the sentence "sad", adding, "Something bad is going to happen, I'm afraid."

Her ex-husband Michael - who has served time in jail himself - says his daughter was "a victim of her own celebrity".

He says, "She is a little girl who has been used by everybody around her because of her celebrity and that's what's landed her where she is. Now, she needs a helping hand, not a sentence. I'm against it. Jail would probably harm Lindsay more than help her."

Lohan must now serve a 24-hour jail term, after the judge cut a mandatory four-day jail sentence in half and ordered her to carry out 10 days of community service.

A further day was taken off the sentence because of time Lohan has already served during her arrests.

Paris Hilton Defamation Lawsuit Settled

Paris Hilton can scratch her next court date from her calendar.

A settlement in a $10 million defamation lawsuit was reached Wednesday between the hotel heiress-reality TV star and diamond heiress-actress Zeta Graff.

The trial was set to start Monday.

In the suit, Graff claimed that Hilton spread "vicious lies" about her to the media in 2005.

Both sides reached an "amicable resolution," but the details were kept confidential, according to a statement released by Graff's attorney, Bruce Broillet.

"Both parties are glad that the matter could be resolved without the time and expense of a trial," the statement read.

Attorneys for both Graff and Hilton declined further comment. Hilton spokesman Elliot Mintz did not return telephone calls Wednesday.

In the suit, Graff claimed that Hilton spread the lies about her to the New York Post.

The paper reported that Graff -- who once dated Hilton's then-fiance, Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis -- went "berserk" at a nightclub, tried to strangle Hilton and attempted to steal her diamond necklace.

Graff denied the report and claimed that Hilton said, "I'm going to destroy you" after trying to oust her from the club, according to the suit.

Hilton denied that she was behind the report.

But former Hilton publicist Rob Shuter said in a deposition that Hilton asked him to help plant the story and that he gave the paper comments, dictated by Hilton, that he attributed to himself, Hilton and anonymous sources.

Britney Shaved Her Head 'Because of Drug Test'

Britney Spears shaved her head because she was convinced her hair would be tested for drugs, according to a friend.

The singer stunned fans in January when she cut off her own hair in a Los Angeles salon in front of paparazzi photographers.

She has never explained the gesture - but a friend claims she was worried she would be drug tested as part of her custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline over their two children.

The friend tells British newspaper The Sun, "Kevin taunted Britney that even his smoking marijuana near her would leave traces that could be picked up by drug testing.

"He threatened to use that against her in a custody battle." The pair are still battling over custody of Sean Preston, 23 months and 11-month-old Jayden James.

Lindsay Lohan to serve 1 day in jail in plea bargain

Lindsay Lohan reached a plea deal Thursday on misdemeanor drunken driving and cocaine charges that calls for her to spend one day in jail, serve 10 days of community service and complete a drug treatment program.

"I broke the law and today I took responsibility by pleading guilty," Lohan said Thursday in a statement.

She was also placed on 36 months probation, is required to complete an 18-month alcohol education program, pay hundreds of dollars in fines and must complete a three-day county coroner program in which she'll visit a morgue and talk to victims of drunken drivers.

"It is clear to me that my life has become completely unmanageable because I am addicted to alcohol and drugs," Lohan said in a statement released by publicist Leslie Sloane Zelnik.

She said she did things she was ashamed of. "I broke the law and today I took responsibility by pleading guilty to the charges in my case."

"She's getting what everyone else would get," Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers said after an hourlong hearing in Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge H. Chester Horn Jr.'s courtroom. Terms of the plea bargain were worked out in chambers.

If Lohan were to be convicted of another DUI, she would receive a mandatory 120-day jail sentence, Meyers said.

"No matter what I said when I was under the influence on the day I was arrested, I am not blaming anyone else for my conduct other than myself. I thank God I did not injure others. I easily could have," Lohan's statement went on.

Lohan was charged earlier in the day with seven misdemeanors stemming from two drunken-driving arrests in the last four months. More serious felony drug charges were not filed, prosecutors said, because tests showed there wasn't enough cocaine on her to warrant them.

Attorney Blair Berk entered pleas on Lohan's behalf: she pleaded guilty to two counts of being under the influence of cocaine; no contest to two counts of driving with a blood-alcohol level above .08 percent and one count of reckless driving. Two counts of driving under the influence were dropped.

Lohan was arrested on May 26 in Beverly Hills, California, and on July 24 in Santa Monica, California. In each incident, the amount of cocaine tested was below the .05 grams required for felony charges, according to the district attorney's office.

Each of Lohan's arrests were followed by trips to rehab.

Lohan's legal problems come on the heels of two other high-profile celebrity DUI cases that resulted in jail time. Paris Hilton served 23 days behind bars after she was found guilty of driving on a suspended license while on probation for an alcohol-related reckless-driving case. Nicole Richie was ordered to serve four days in jail stemming from a December DUI arrest.

Lohan crashed her Mercedes-Benz into a tree on Sunset Boulevard in May and fled the scene to seek medical treatment. Police tests revealed that a white powder found in Lohan's purse was .04 grams of cocaine.

Lohan checked into the posh Promises rehabilitation facility in Malibu, California, after the incident. She left the facility July 13 after six weeks of treatment. She was photographed wearing an alcohol-monitoring ankle bracelet after her release.

Lohan was arrested again on July 24 following a 911 call by Michelle Peck, the mother of Lohan's former personal assistant. Peck told police she was being chased by an SUV. Police later said Lohan was the driver.

Lohan's blood-alcohol level was between 0.12 and 0.13 percent when police found her, officials said. Police also found a white powder in her pocket that was determined to be .02 grams of cocaine.

She was enrolled in a drug rehab center in Sundance, Utah, attorneys confirmed in court Thursday.

Lohan started 2007 in rehab at the Wonderland Center in Los Angeles, California.

Lohan's latest film, "I Know Who Killed Me," opened in July to lackluster response.

"I very much want to be healthy and gain control of my life and career and have asked for medical help in doing so. I am taking these steps to improve my life," Lohan said in her statement. "Luckily, I am not alone in my daily struggle and I know that people like me have succeeded. Maybe with time it will become easier. I hope so."

Spears Cancels Timberlake Duet?

Troubled pop star Britney Spears has pulled out of recording a duet with former lover Justin Timberlake, according to reports.

The “Toxic” hitmaker was scheduled to reunite with her old flame to produce a comeback track produced by Timbaland, but ditched the idea at the last minute.

A source tells New York gossip column, PageSix, "Timbaland set aside a week out of his crazy schedule to do this - and then, just before she was supposed to fly out, Britney abruptly canceled the session and refused to do the song.

"It's crazy. She's looking for a comeback, and this would have not only been a huge hit, but something she could have opened the MTV Video Awards with and really blown everyone away."

The cancellation has now stalled Spears' comeback ambitions and has sparked rumors she might be dropped her label Jive. Another source tells PageSix, "Listen, everyone is worried. In her mind, her album is done and she's done enough work.

"People at Jive have been with Britney since album one, and have an investment in her. They have faith that once the material is there, she will become focused and step it up. She's very competitive, but at the end of the day, it's hard. She has to do the work - no one can do it for her."

Representatives for Spears, Timberlake and Jive declined to comment.

Lindsay Lohan charged in DUI cases

Lindsay Lohan was charged with seven misdemeanors Thursday stemming from two drunken-driving arrests, avoiding more serious felony drug charges because tests showed there wasn't enough cocaine on her to warrant them.

The district attorney charged the 21-year-old actress with two counts each of driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol level above .08 percent and being under the influence of cocaine, along with one count of reckless driving.

Police found cocaine on Lohan during the arrests on May 26 in Beverly Hills and July 24 in Santa Monica. In each incident, the amounts tested were below the .05 grams required for felony charges, according to the district attorney's office.

Each of Lohan's arrests were followed by trips to rehab.

Lohan's arraignment was scheduled for Friday but a conference with a Los Angeles Superior Court judge in Beverly Hills was set for later Thursday. A disposition on the charges could be reached during the hearing, according to Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers.

The maximum penalty for a single misdemeanor DUI conviction in California is 6 months in jail and a $1,000 fine. Conviction on a second DUI charge could draw a penalty of up to one year in jail.

Lohan's legal problems come on the heels of two other high-profile celebrity DUI cases in Los Angeles that resulted in jail time. Paris Hilton served 23 days behind bars after she was found guilty of driving on a suspended license while on probation for an alcohol-related reckless driving case. Nicole Richie was ordered to serve four days in jail stemming from a December DUI arrest.

Lohan's publicist did not immediately return an e-mail seeking comment about Thursday's charges.

Lohan crashed her Mercedes Benz into a tree on Sunset Boulevard in May and fled the scene to seek medical treatment. Police tests revealed that a white powder found in Lohan's purse was .04 grams of cocaine.

Lohan checked into the posh Promises rehabilitation facility in Malibu after the incident.

After the incident, Lohan said in an e-mail to a host for the celebrity-news show "Access Hollywood" that she was "innocent" and the drugs found in her pocket during a pre-booking search were not hers.

She has reportedly been in a Sundance, Utah, rehab center in recent weeks.

A woman who was a passenger in Michelle Peck's vehicle sued the actress this month for assault and negligence.

Tracie Rice's suit seeks unspecified damages and payment of medical and other expenses related to emotional distress.

Lohan started 2007 in rehab at the Wonderland Center in Los Angeles.

"I was growing up and going out a lot, and I needed to have a balance," she told Elle magazine during an interview in May, just days before her first DUI arrest. "I was glad I went, because I needed to get away from everyone and I didn't know how to do that. And I learned a lot there."

Lohan's latest film, "I Know Who Killed Me," opened in July to lackluster response.

Paris the cartoon superhero?

LET'S don't anybody say Paris Hilton is a flash in the pen. Let's don't even mutter about this Feline Felon flam ing out. The child is only beginning. Stan Lee, who brought you "Spider-Man," who brought us "X Men," who brought mankind "The Incredible Hulk," who brought himself millions, who is now bringing "Superhero" to the Sci Fi Network 9 p.m. Thursdays, is poised to bring us Miss Paris Hilton Herself.

"I have a first-look deal with Disney," Stan told me. "That means I don't know who'll be behind this until I at least show them the finished product and see how they feel. But the plan is to make an animated cartoon show with her on TV. A hip comedy in the superhero comedy-adventure genre. We get on very well. This is a charming, very likable person. Sophisticated. Great comedic sense. A fine voice. And seriously hard-working. Totally unlike whatever the public is led to believe. And she has input. She attends every meeting. What we plan to do is truly tasteful.

"I'm doing a few of these kinds of shows. I'm working with Ringo Starr for a similar idea. I've told him I'll make him famous."

Stan Lee had the good sense to wait for the laugh. Then:

"And I'm planning another with Hugh Hefner. Actually, he's not a sybarite. In my hands, he'll come off as America's greatest secret agent."

The laugh might have been shorter, but Stan Lee's credit line has definitely grown longer.

Anyway, "Who Wants To Be a Superhero" did six episodes last season. It has a Go for eight this season. And that's even before Paris starts burning.

Paris Hilton set to star in Celebrity Big Brother

Socialite Paris Hilton is in talks to appear in the new season of British reality show Celebrity Big Brother, according to reports.

The Simple Life star has been offered $600,000 to star in the forthcoming series, reports British newspaper The Sun.

A show insider tells the paper, "She wants people to see that she is not a bimbo or wild child. She's actually smart and funny, with lots of interesting things to say. She would easily be the star of the show--but obviously won't do it unless the money is right."

Trump Keen to Reunite Spears, Lohan and Hilton on 'Apprentice'

Property tycoon Donald Trump is desperate to reunite Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton on a celebrity version of The Apprentice.

The businessman is keen to give the trio an entrepreneurial chance on the hit TV show, insisting the experience would be "a positive thing for them to do"--and concedes socialite Hilton has already been in contact with show executives to secure a place on the series.

He tells the New York Post, "We're negotiating with Britney right now. Can you imagine her doing it? We're not sure what will happen. She's a f**king mess. And that little reality show she had did nothing. But she likes the idea of being on television and I think she'd be great."

"(Hilton) wants to be on, and we're thinking about it, but I don't know if we're going to do it. (Lohan is) another f**king mess. We haven't asked her yet, but I'm going to call her this week. It would a positive thing for her to do... for all of them."

Lindsay Lohan plans return to pop music career

Lindsay Lohan is desperate to resurrect her pop career.

The 'Mean Girls' star has reportedly told executives at Universal Music she is ready to start work on a third studio album after her recent troubles left her short of film offers.

A source told the New York Daily News newspaper, "It would be easy for her to release another album. A record by Lindsay Lohan costs almost nothing to make. She doesn't need a big band. You just give her some songs and session musicians. And, God knows, she already has name recognition."

Lindsay's first two albums 'Speak' and 'A Little More Personal' were guided by Casablanca label head Tommy Mottola, and it is thought he has been trying to persuade Lindsay to get back into the recording studio.

The source said, "Tommy Mottola knows how to handle divas, after all he was once married to Mariah Carey."

Lindsay was arrested last month for driving under the influence, possession of cocaine, transporting a narcotic into a custody facility and driving on a suspended licence.

She has since reportedly struggled to find anyone who will insure her for a Hollywood movie.

But the music industry may not be set to welcome the 21-year-old with open arms either.

A source said, "As much as she wants to make another album the feeling is she needs to get herself cleaned up. Then we can talk about it."

Britney Spears in Tears After Lawyer Meeting

Troubled pop star Britney Spears fled her lawyer's office in tears on Wednesday after a meeting to discuss her custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

The 25-year-old singer and Federline's divorce was finalized last month, with the couple agreeing to joint custody of their sons Sean Preston, 23 months, and Jayden James, 11 months.

However, following Spears' erratic behavior in recent weeks, Federline is now seeking full custody of the two boys and has subpoenaed her assistant Alli Sims, her former sidekick Shannon Funk, and her bodyguard Daimon Shippen to testify in the case.

Spears met with her lawyer Laura Wasser in Los Angeles on Wednesday and was photographed crying as she left.

Later that evening, Spears met up with Las Vegas magician Criss Angel to discuss a possible collaboration at the forthcoming MTV Music Video Awards.

Criss Angel Denies Spears Romance Reports

Illusionist Criss Angel has dismissed reports he's romantically involved with Britney Spears, insisting he has been working with the pop superstar on her upcoming MTV Video Music Awards performance.

Angel, who recently dated Cameron Diaz, was spotted having dinner with Spears in Hollywood on Wednesday night, before the pair headed into a nearby hotel.

But Angel--real name Christopher Sarantakos--claims Spears just wanted to discuss the possibility of using his magic skills in a possible performance at the MTV Video Music Awards ceremony in Las Vegas next month.

He says, "It's amazing what people think. We're not together. Her manager is my manager, and I'm helping with one of her shows. I'm helping with her appearance on MTV.

"We were talking about how she wants to do something more with the (awards) show, and about me helping out and hoping to work with her on doing something to make her MTV appearance more innovative.

"It's amazing how you can't do anything now without people making up stuff."

Britney Spears poses topless for Allure

Another day, another bit of bizarre Britney behavior. The cover of the September issue of Allure magazine features Britney Spears posed provocatively in jeans and dark brown wig, her bare breasts covered by her arms.

There are two similar shots inside the mag. She very cooperatively posed for the shots in April.

When it came to sitting for the interview she had also agreed to, that became a much different matter.

"Britney showed up for Allure's cover shoot on time and ready to work," editor-in-chief Linda Wells wrote in an a letter for the issue, on newsstands Tuesday.

"She was entirely unself-conscious: She took off her wig and then stripped down to the waist, for no apparent reason, before sitting for hair and makeup," Wells said. "She was agreeable and cooperative on the shoot and left at the end of the day, followed by a trail of paparazzi."

As for the interview that was to follow, the 25-year-old Spears missed four appointments with Allure interviewer Judith Newman, Wells said.

At one point, Spears put off the chat because she was "delayed by important work in the recording studio," Newman wrote. But, she added, "The paparazzi found her a few hours later at a salon, getting her nails done." .

What do you do when you have no profile to accompany some alluring photographs? Newman wrote a first-person essay about her experience trying to track down Spears.

"Britney has long lost her role-model status," Wells commented. "That dream of a comeback seems to occupy an ever-more-distant speck on the horizon."

Lindsay Lohan Pedals Away From Rehab

It looks like Lindsay Lohan just can’t get enough of that Utah fresh air.

Lilo was photographed on Thursday taking a bike ride in a black get up with matching helmet. Very biker chic, indeed.

Earlier this week, a smiling and presumably sober Lindsay was seen strolling the streets of Sundance with cigarette in hand.

Lindsay checked into the Cirque Lodge in early August, marking her third stint in rehab after previous visits to the Wonderland and Promises facilities in Los Angeles.

Lindsay Lohan Graces Cover Of Maxim

Lindsay Lohan may be in rehab, but that hasn't stopped Maxim from featuring her on the cover of its 10th anniversary issue, which hits newsstands Tuesday in the U.S.

In the interview — which was conducted in mid-May, before both her DUI arrests — Lohan cites the obscure track "It's for You" by Out Hud as her go-to DJ song and shares her guilty pleasures: Larry King Live, Oprah and junk food.

When asked what she would bring to a remote island, she said: "I'd take an iPod, a good book and a friend, because I wouldn't want to be alone."

While the Maxim shot dates back a few months, TMZ.com has posted a photo of a smiling Lohan the site says was taken Tuesday at the Cirque Lodge rehab center in Orem, Utah. The pic shows the actress on her way to a tanning center.

Paris Hilton's Fashion Launch Causes L.A. Chaos

Police and city workers were called in to handle the crowd and a lane of traffic was closed as Paris Hilton unveiled her clothing line Thursday at a trendy boutique.

The heiress, author, singer, perfume designer and reality-TV star unveiled the line at Kitson, a boutique known for its celebrity clientele. The lane was closed for pedestrians' safety, a city spokesman said.

Clad in a gold sequin mini-dress, Hilton, 26, emerged from a black SUV to a throng of fans who spilled into the street.

"It's a dream come true to have my own clothing line," she said.

"It's just Paris style: fun, bright and flashy."

The collection, which Hilton described as "really comfortable" and "really affordable," includes shoes, T-shirts and jeans.

Hilton said she spent a year submitting and approving designs. "It's just from my closet to their closets," she said.

The heiress also discussed other newsy matters in her life: her pregnant pal, Nicole Richie ("She's going to be a great mom," Hilton said), and the pending sale of her Hollywood Hills home.

"I'm going to miss my house because I love it. I really designed it to be my perfect taste," she said.

"But too many people know where I live and I'd rather be in a gated community."

Lindsay Lohan's parents settle divorce

Lindsay Lohan's estranged parents settled their long-simmering divorce and custody dispute Friday, winning praise from the judge who presided over their case.

"You have both demonstrated to me extraordinarily good judgment in resolving this matter as you did," state Supreme Court Justice Robert A. Ross told Michael and Dina Lohan.

Terms of the divorce agreement, which will become official within 60 days, weren't disclosed. Dina Lohan has custody of the couple's two minor children, Aliana, 13, and Dakota, 10.

Outside the courthouse, Michael Lohan said he was looking forward to seeing the children again, though it wasn't disclosed when or under what circumstances he might do so.

Neither Lindsay, 21, nor her brother Michael, 19, were involved in the divorce proceedings since they are no longer minors.

"I wish Dina the best and I hope we can both move forward and put our best foot forward for the kids' sake and just be good parents," Lohan told reporters outside the courthouse.

Dina Lohan said, "Now the healing process can begin for my children and myself."

She said Lindsay, who was arrested last month in Santa Monica, Calif., on suspicion of driving under the influence and cocaine possession, is doing "fantastic."

The "Mean Girls" star faces an Aug. 24 court date in connection with that arrest.

Lindsay has been the subject of intense speculation since her arrest, which came just two weeks after she was released from her second stint in rehab this year. Various reports have placed her in a rehab facility in Utah, but no one is talking on the record.

The Lohans were close to an agreement on a divorce settlement in 2005, but that deal collapsed while Michael was serving a prison term for drunken driving, brawling and other charges.

He was released in March and entered a Christian-based drug and rehabilitation center in West Babylon. He has repeatedly said Lindsay needs the same kind of treatment.

Details of Lohan's car chase revealed

Lindsay Lohan was sued for assault and negligence by a woman who was a passenger in a car that Lohan is accused of chasing while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Lohan "put me through one of the most frightening experiences of my life," Tracie Rice said in a statement issued after the lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

"What Miss Lohan did that night was extremely dangerous and reprehensible. Someone could easily have been killed or seriously hurt because of her irresponsible decisions that evening," Rice said.

The suit also alleges intentional infliction of emotional distress. It seeks unspecified damages and also payment of medical and other expenses related to emotional distress.

An email to Lohan's publicist and a telephone message left for her lawyer were not immediately returned.

Lohan was arrested for investigation of misdemeanour driving under the influence and with a suspended licence and felony cocaine possession after last month's pre-dawn chase that ended in Santa Monica, California.

The suit does not provide a reason for the chase. However, two men who claim they were unwilling passengers in the car driven by Lohan have said she was upset with the daughter of Michelle Peck.

Peck was driving the vehicle carrying Rice.

Rice "was convinced that their lives were in danger and that they had to outrun the pursuing car or they might be killed," the suit said.

Peck finally drove through a barricade and into the parking lot at the Santa Monica Civic Centre next to police headquarters and the sport utility vehicle followed, the suit said.

Rice got out and ran toward police officers and saw a woman, who turned out to be Lohan, run from the vehicle toward her, she contended.

"Police officers approached all of them with guns drawn," the suit said.

Lohan was arrested a short time later.

Lohan missteps on her new movie role

The room is dark, a purple haze of cigarette smoke hangs languidly in the air, men are shifting nervously in their seats with anticipation at who the next dancer will be. Will she be a vision from their wildest dreams? Or will it be ... Lindsay Lohan? Sadly, it is the latter. "I Know Who Killed Me" immediately showcases the film's star with an its oh-so-dull and way too long striptease performed by none other than the gratuitously freckled Lohan. In the next scene, the audience is catapulted out of the sleazy strip joint into the lovely town of New Salem where a suddenly smart and modest Lohan is reading a creative essay to her classmates. The sultry Lohan, as Dakota Moss, and the demure Lohan as Aubrey Fleming are complete opposites, yet look exactly alike. Who is who? Is Aubrey/Dakota a schizoid? Are the two women twins? Is this some sort of nightmare?

In a flash, the sweet Aubrey Fleming goes missing and believed to have been abducted by a limb-collecting serial killer. Suddenly, the whole town of New Salem is invaded by the FBI, who then begin to furiously investigate the murders. We are immediately confused as to why a town would suddenly bring in the entire police force from Quantico just because a girl is missing. Equally bizarre is the fact that the lovely she turns up in a ditch, minus a few limbs, and is amazingly still alive ... sort of. Not only does Fleming now have to hobble around on her new peg leg and maneuver a bionic arm, but she doesn't believe she is Aubrey Fleming. In fact, she says she is Dakota Moss, the aforementioned stripper. Moss believes the real Aubrey Fleming is somewhere out there still being tortured and that maybe the two are twins. Huh?

Lohan seems to put zero effort into her transformation from virginal nerd to washed-out stripper. In fact her entire performance feels forced, so much so that we find the audience laughing at inopportune moments. During one scene, Fleming's mother, played by Julia Ormond, attempts to convince Dakota of her real identity, Moss quips, "I know I may look a little like this Aubrey chick, but I'm not her," attempting to sound tough, gritty and threatening, Lohan sounds more like a little girl playing dress up. The groans of boredom from the audience ensue as we are subjected to further lackadaisical stripteases from Lohan that continue to lack the artistic flare they aim for.

The torture scenes are especially gory, so for those of you with a weak stomach, you may find yourself attempting not to wretch as Lohan's mottled little fingers are torn off. Unfortunately, distracting audiences from the pure horror is the pure silliness of the murderer's torture instruments. At first, one might assume that a demonic Papa Smurf was the perp because everything is blue - the killer's knives, Aubrey's room, her boyfriend's roses - and the list goes on. The continuous blue imagery is pointless, distracting and overdone.

When leaving the theater, people seemed confused; were they supposed to like the movie a little or hate it a lot? There was a whiff of indifference in the air. "I Know Who Killed Me" suffers from a missed opportunity for promotions because of Lohan's addiction woes, but the film fails her too. The movie fails to help mature her image; instead it might continue to add to her life troubles. Sadly, "I Know Who Killed Me" might destroy Lohan's acting career.

Lindsay Lohan sued over car chase for 'emotional distress'

A Los Angeles woman who was driving a car that Lindsay Lohan is accused of chasing through city streets in July is suing the troubled actress, claiming her behaviour could have caused injury or death.

Tracie Rice is seeking unspecified damages for assault and infliction of emotional distress by the 21-year-old actress, who was arrested and accused of criminal drunken driving and drug possession after the pre-dawn chase.

"What Miss Lohan did that night was extremely dangerous and reprehensible. Someone could easily have been killed or seriously hurt because of her irresponsible decisions," Rice said. Lohan was arrested in the early morning hours of July 24 by police in Santa Monica, California, a beach community in Los Angeles County. It was the second time the actress had been charged with drunken driving in recent weeks.

The lawsuit said Rice was a passenger in a car driven by Michelle Peck, the mother of Lohan's personal assistant who quit working for the actress only hours earlier.

The suit describes a high-speed car chase during which Rice and Peck believed they could be carjacked or shot at.

"Plaintiff was convinced that their lives were in danger and that they had to outrun the pursuing car or they might be killed," the suit said.

Peck led the car Lohan allegedly was driving directly to the Santa Monica police station, where officers questioned all involved and arrested Lohan.

The actress was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, cocaine possession, bringing a controlled substance into custody and driving on a suspended license. At the time, Lohan was wearing an alcohol monitoring bracelet following a recent stint in a rehabilitation clinic, and her lawyer issued a statement saying the actress suffered a relapse and was receiving medical care.

Lohan's spokeswoman was not immediately available for comment on the lawsuit.

Lohan crashed her car in May and was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.

She entered a 45-day rehabilitation program and was released in mid-July, only days before the car chase.

She shot to stardom as a child actress in Disney movies such as The Parent Trap and Freaky Friday.

Avril Lavigne runs around naked when drunk

Avril Lavigne runs around naked when she is drunk.

The Canadian singer, who is married to Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley, admits she enjoys stripping off after a few drinks.

She said, "I've been known to run around naked when I'm drunk."One time I was drinking whiskey, and I was so loud, someone called the police.

"I have a side to me that's a bit delinquent and I get myself in trouble. I like to drink and party and speak my mind. But when it comes down to it, I'm a good person and I wouldn't deliberately hurt anyone."

Although she may flash her flesh when intoxicated, the 22-year-old rocker isn't prepared to use her sexuality to sell records.

The 'Girlfriend' singer told Sunday magazine, "Image is a personal choice. I'd rather be seen as me than for not wearing anything. When I first started out in music I was 17. I didn't want to wear the clothes that everyone wanted me to wear. I wore my tank top and Doc Martens boots and I'm glad I did because I was so different from everyone else."

Paris Hilton to appear in CBB6?

Paris Hilton is reportedly in talks to appear in the next series of Celebrity Big Brother.

The hotel heiress is rumoured to be negotiating with the programme's producers and will join the house “if the price is right”.

A Channel 4 source said: “Paris is keen to do the show because she wants to show people the real her.

"She wants to show the British public that there is more to her life than shopping and partying and she would certainly make an interesting housemate. It all depends on whether we can afford her."

The socialite reportedly turned down an offer to appear in the German version of the series in 2005 when her demand for a $5 million salary was refused.

Britney Spears desperate to rekindle friendship with Paris Hilton

Britney Spears desperately wanted to rekindle her friendship with Paris Hilton but the hotel heiress snubbed her, it has been reported.

The 'Toxic' singer and 'The Simple Life' star became best friends for a few weeks after Britney filed for divorce from Kevin Federline and were seen partying in Hollywood almost every night.

While Britney would love to go out with Paris again, the socialite won't return her calls.A source told Life and Style Weekly magazine, "Britney is dying to hang out with Paris. She's trying to get her cell phone number and passing messages to her through other friends.

"Paris moved on a long time ago when it comes to Britney. She feels sorry for her, but that is as far as it goes!"

Since Britney, 25, split from Kevin she has worried her ex-husband with her erratic behaviour, after shaving her head and entering rehab.

Kevin is seeking sole physical custody of his two sons with Britney, 22-month-old Sean Preston and 10-month-old Jayden James.

Meanwhile, 26-year-old Paris has served 23 days behind bars for driving with a suspended licence and has vowed to become a better person.

Paris Hilton swears she's no plastic fantastic

She vowed she'd never get plastic surgery, but famously flat-chested Paris Hilton has raised eyebrows with her newly heavy chest.

Hilton says it's a booster swimsuit featuring an internal push-up bra that has emphasised her newly curvaceous figure.

But speculation is rife that the heiress has gone under the knife, despite declaring her anti-surgery stance last year.

Hilton once considered breast augmentation surgery before being talked out of it by her father, Rick.

At the time she said: "I don't need it and I would never get it. It's gross - and it always ends up looking really fake. But if a girl is miserable and that's the only way to make her happy, then that's fine.

"Years ago I asked my dad for a boob job and he said it would cheapen my image. So I decided not to do it."

Hilton, 26, who was released from jail in June, has been criticised for trying to attract further attention by altering her body shape.

Apart from a stream of media commentary in the US and Britain, Hilton's changing body shape has prompted a barrage of comments on the internet.

"Her only talent is attracting attention," wrote one fan on a Hilton website.

Michael Lohan to Sue Tell-All Bodyguard

Lindsay Lohan's father, Michael, is set to launch a legal suit against his daughter's former bodyguard following comments the minder made about him and his estranged wife Dina.

Tony Almeida, who was Lohan's bodyguard for three years from 2002, sat down for exclusive interviews with TV news show Entertainment Tonight and magazine In Touch to talk about his concerns for his former client after she checked into her third rehab facility this year.

Almeida squarely blamed the actress' parents for not showing enough control around their daughter--and allowing her to run wild from an early age.

The bodyguard also claimed to have been a witness to Lindsay's underage drinking and a fight she had with her father on a New York freeway, which Michael Lohan denies.

And he tells In Touch he once hired 24-hour surveillance to keep Michael away from his estranged daughter, revealing, "Early one morning, he actually got inside her house through the pool area. Lindsay was terrified."

Michael Lohan insists he isn't going to let the bodyguard get away with his efforts to make money from selling what he claims are lies and inaccuracies.

Michael Lohan says, "Why he would say such things, I can only speculate. Tony is destitute. He is scraping from the bottom of the barrel.

"I pray for him. He's selling these interviews for money and he's going to get sued for far beyond any money he would have made."
